THE  FRAME

This project began without a script. No sketches. No references. Only the physicality of the hand and what it knew before the mind interrupted. The work was captured in silence, over the course of several evenings at the Château de Marsan each piece responding to the one before it, not by theme, but by impulse.

What emerged was a study in mark-making as memory: gestures repeated, shapes reappearing, pressure shifting between calm and force. Some strokes were left bare, others buried. Paint bled into paper like thought trailing into emotion.
