Where the Paint Settled is a meditation on instinct and accident. The paintings hold the record of each mark made without correction. What bled, stayed. What pooled, remained. Every surface was left to resolve itself not through control, but through trust in the material. Some pieces dried soft at the edges, others cracked and folded in. There’s no uniformity here, only reaction: to gesture, to texture, to saturation. This series doesn’t search for resolution it accepts residue. And in the end, what’s left is a map of where the artist paused, breathed, and let the pigment decide.
